Daniel D. Kim

Daniel D. Kim practices business immigration and corporate transactions. Mr. Kim specializes in advising artists, emerging visual effects companies, entrepreneurs, and businesses engaged in international transactions.
Mr. Kim has extensive litigation experience in misdemeanor, juvenile, and felony criminal matters. He has taken numerous jury trials to favorable verdicts ranging from three strikes cases to first degree murder. Mr. Kim has also practiced in the areas of corporate formation, intellectual property rights, licensing, and federal class actions.
Mr. Kim received his B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley, with a double major in History and English Literature, and a minor in Asian American Studies. He attended on a National Merit Finalist Scholarship and a California Alumni Scholarship. Mr. Kim then attended graduate school at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. on a Writing Center Fellowship. Mr. Kim received his J.D. with a Public Interest Law Concentration from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While in law school, Mr. Kim clerked with the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and the Asian Law Caucus, a leading Bay Area legal and civil rights organization serving low-income clients.
Daniel D. Kim is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Beverly Hills Bar Association, International Law Section of the California Bar, Los Angeles County Bar Association, Korean American Bar Association, Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment, and the California Lawyers for the Arts. He is admitted to the State Bar of California and to the Federal Court in the Central District of California.
